Who we are

The Rutherford County Committee of Citizens is a constitutionally grounded chapter of the Committee of Citizens that is committed to safeguarding the rights, interests, and collective voice of the people of Rutherford County, North Carolina. The 12-member committee is composed of residents from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and communities across the county.

What we do

RCCC amplifies the voices of county citizens to ensure their rights and interests are fully represented and respected in local governance. We ensure that government actions strictly adhere to constitutional procedures and that all three branches of government align with the will of the people. In essence, we serve as the voice of the people and the accountability mechanism that holds government officials responsible when they deviate from the people's demands.

How we do it

RCCC adheres to a structured and proactive approach:

We listen to the concerns and demands of the people to find those that impact the rights and interests of the public.

2) Thorough Investigation

Through careful analysis and legal research, we uncover the facts behind each issue to ensure an informed and accurate understanding.

Like the Founding Fathers, we create resolutions that address the issues, and provide clear, actionable solutions and remedies rooted in constitutional principles.

4) Public Voting

Resolutions are put to a public vote, allowing all citizens to learn about the issues and exercise their protected right to instruct their representatives.

5) Education & Advocacy

We educate citizens about their rights and the importance of participation, empowering them to engage in a constitutionally aligned form of government.

6) Organizing & Mobilizing

We bring the community together to take action, foster unity, and collaborate with community leaders for positive change.

7) Accountability

RCCC monitors government activity ensuring compliance with constitutional standards & your will, swiftly addressing any deviations and ensuring transparency in the process.
