Mr. David Bentley Hurley
Mr. Hurley is a North Carolina native who has lived in every region of the state. His service to his fellow North Carolinians began in 2000, when he joined the United States Marines. After 4 years and a tour in Iraq, Mr. Hurley joined the Raleigh Police Department where he received numerous accommodations and awards for his service. Wanting to see more of the world, Mr. Hurley became a DoD contractor, serving 2 years in Afghanistan on various personal security details before heading back stateside to focus on business.
He now runs 3 online companies in addition to fighting government corruption, usurpation, and courtroom abuse. Mr. Hurley sees the world in black and white and strives to set a positive example for his children in family, faith, and personal accountability.

Mr. Cody Digh
Mr. Digh, a steadfast Christian, husband, father, and Air Force veteran, is dedicated to ensuring Rutherford County is an exemplary community for his children. Upholding the principle that citizens and government must work together to uphold and adhere to the rule of law, he is resolute in his fight against corruption.
Mr. Digh is committed to restoring the fundamental liberties secured by past generations, which he believes are often misunderstood and have been eroded away over the generations. He makes it his daily goal to expand his knowledge of law and life and considers any day without achieving this as a day wasted.
His principled leadership and unwavering pursuit of knowledge guide his service on the Rutherford County Committee of Citizens.

Mr. Jason Champion
Mr. Champion, a lifelong resident of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, is committed to raising his family in a safe and thriving community. He takes his role in protecting Rutherford County seriously, with a special focus on helping those in the county who are less fortunate.
Guided by strong faith and morals, Mr. Champion stands against wrongdoing, but always puts an emphasis on kindness, patience, and forgiveness. He believes everyone should be held accountable for their actions, regardless of their status.
Mr. Champion aims to bring peace and unity to the county through his service with the Rutherford County Committee of Citizens.

Mr. Scott Lane
Mr. Lane, a resident of Rutherford County since 2005, is dedicated to creating positive change by encouraging others to act with integrity.
Originally from Southern California, he moved to North Carolina in 1997 during his service as a Sergeant in the Army. In the service, Mr. Lane learned the importance of leading by example to address corruption and abuse.
Passionate about unlocking Rutherford County’s potential for greatness, he serves on the Rutherford County Committee of Citizens with a commitment to honesty and community progress.
